Yesterday started with a right old drama. I got to work and found out that the storm had knocked out our power. Apparently the power was down at the Back Packers site too. I went to Café Nero to prepare for Intents because it was so dang hot in my office (let's hear it for laptops!). The girl serving behind the counter was telling all the customers that there had been two inches of water flooding through the shop that morning and loads of rats scuttling about (she was very careful to point out that critters were “outside” the café, heh heh). What an exciting start to the day, huh.
It was all over by 1pm when the power came back.
