So there you have it, Free* Café.
Today we had the last one for ooh, a good six weeks at least. If you went today post a review or something here otherwise it’s just me polluting the internet with my own one sided version of history, which is as follows:
The coolest part of today was the Chesham Park guys. They all had different activities today, some of them weren’t even in the school building and finished at different times. So most of the CPCC people who came were there to specially honour us with there presence and not just because they happened to be passing. And they were in their own clothes so everything felt a bit more relaxed. We had most of the usual Thomas Harding crowd too. Lizi Ingle (hey Mingle, should that be Lingle?) went to a load of effort to put together end of term “goodie bags” and we had enough for everybody who came. It was a great way to mark the end of the term.
What else was cool? Oh yeah, Rupert made a swell video about his trip to Africa (look out for it on Broadway Youth TV very soon). One scene of significance featured him poking a cow pat with a stick. This didn’t have any narrative purpose, but I feel it added a certain flavour!
Rupert’s video very nearly didn’t happen today. The DVD copy we had wouldn’t work properly so he and Gideon ( St Mary’s Church Warden and all round geez) rushed off and came back with a working copy literally in the nick of time. Everybody say “Phew”.
What else? Oh yeah, Ian getting very excited about his new Sponge Bob Square Pants beach towel. He waved it around like a flag and did several celebratory dances.
Downside of the day: Everybody moaned that the new pool balls are smaller then the old ones. I keep telling ya, they are just a bit further away.
Next week: Intents! 4,30 – 6pm at Thomas Harding School field, in the big tent. I foresee it shall be quite massive.
Benjamin out.
