It's about an old lady, whose family courageously provided a refuge for Jews and others wanted by the Nazis during the German occupation of Holland in the 1940s. Their faith in Jesus kept them through some horrific experiences.
I normally read this book about once a year. I love it - it's so inspiring, if a little Enid Blyton in its' style! Strangely enough, my mother-in-law is also a big fan!
